  • 10 x Large eggs, separated and at room temperature or possibly slightly warmer
  • 14 Tbsp. (about 1 c.) sugar
  • 6 ounce Bittersweet or possibly semisweet chocolate, melted slowly over warm water and cooled
  • 2 c. Finely minced, (not grnd) walnuts

Инструкции

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Beat the egg yolks and sugar till very thick and lemon colored. Stir in the chocolate. Mix in the nuts.
  3. Beat the egg whites till stiff but not dry and fold into the chocolate nut mix. Turn into a greased 10 inch springform pan and bake 1 hour or possibly till the center springs back when lightly touched with the finger tips.
  4. Cold in the pan. Frost with your favorite chocolate frosting.
  5. Makes 8-12servings.
