Paprika Chicken And Gnocchi

Ингредиенты

  • 6 x chicken legs skinned
  • 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 3 x onion minced
  • 1/4 c. tomato paste
  • 3 Tbsp. sweet Hungarian paprika
  • 1/2 tsp each salt and pepper
  • 6 x carrots minced
  • 2 c. chicken stock
  • 1 x sweet green pepper minced
  • 3 c. fresh gnocchi (1 lb/500g)

  1. Separate chicken legs at joint. In Dutch oven or possibly large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat; brown chicken. Drain off any fat. Transfer to slowcooker (4.5 to 6 L).
  2. To skillet, add in onions, tomato paste, paprika, sant and pepper, to taste and carrots; cook over medium heat for 5 min. Add in to slow cooker along with stock; cook on Low for 4 to 5 hrs. Remove chicken. Add in green pepper and gnocchi; cook on High for 8 to 10 min or possibly till gnocchi is tender. Pour over chicken.
  3. NOTES : Slowly cooked dark chicken meat remains tender and moist and is economical, too.
