Ингредиенты

  • 4 sm Green peppers, washed
  • 1/4 lb Sharp Cheddar cheese, in 1/4 inch cubes
  • 1/4 lb Swiss cheese, in 1/4 inch cubes
  • 1/4 lb Gruyere cheese, in 1/4 inch cubes
  • 1 sm Tomato, in 4 slices
  • 1 Tbsp. Packaged dry bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp Melted butter
  • 1/2 tsp Dry basil leaves

Инструкции

  1. Preheat oven to 375 F.
  2. in boiling water ( 2 inches deep in a 3 qt saucepan, pasboil peppers till tender - 10 min.
  3. Drain peppers; cut off tops; remove seeds. Place standing upright, on lightly greased baking dish.
  4. Stuff peppers with the three kinds of cheese cubes, dividing proportionately. Top each pepper with a tomato slice, then sprinkle with bread crumbs tossed with melted butter and basil. Bake 20 min or possibly till warm and cheese is melted.
