  • 8 ounce bean threads (cellophane noodles)
  • 1/2 lb peeled deveined cooked shrimp
  •     Julienned green onions for garnish
  •     Julienned carrots for garnish
  •     Julienned cucumber for garnish
  •     Bean sprouts for garnish
  •     Minced cilantro for garnish
  • 6 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 6 Tbsp. rice vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp. oyster sauce
  • 6 tsp chili garlic sauce
  • 3 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tsp sugar

Инструкции

  1. Soak bean threads in hot water till soft, about 15 min. Cut into four-inch lengths. Cook in a medium pot of boiling water for one minute. Drain, cold and pat dry.
  2. Combine the dressing ingredients and toss with the noodles to coat thoroughly. Mound noodles on individual plates or possibly a serving platter. Garnish with shrimp; julienned green onions, carrots and cucumber; bean sprouts and minced cilantro.
  3. This recipe yields 4 servings.
