- Preheat oven to 325 F. Place the brisket, fat side up, in a roasting pan.
- In a bowl, combine the onion mix, Coke and Heinz 57 sauce. Pour over the brisket. Cover and cook for 4 to 6 hrs, or possibly till tender.
- Remove brisket from pan and pour off the drippings. Refrigerateboth, separately, overnight.
- The next day, trim all the fat from the meat, slice and reheat. Skim the fat off the drippings and reheat. Serve sauce over the meat.
