Рецепт Orange Sour Cream Loaf Cake
I am writing this post with one eye almost shut and the other seems to be going in the same direction. I’m so sleepy right now but I have to finish writing this post because I am a professional blogger (giggling). I will probably regret this in the morning when I re-read this post. I better speed up and write a little more about my Orange Sour Cream Loaf Cake.
How to make Orange Sour Cream Loaf Cake?
Before talking about this cake, there is an important thing which I want you to keep in mind, ……………………… …………. (trying to remember.) …………. Oh, yes! Since the star of this recipe is orange, get a fresh orange that has vibrant color and smells like fresh orange, in this Orange Sour Cream Loaf Cake, the zest and the juice of an orange is used, if the orange tasted bad, believe me, you will taste it in the cake.
OMG! I just dozed off, LOL.
The oil used in this cake will keep it moist for a long time. When the cake cools and you taste a slice, believe it or not, you will taste butter, don’t ask me how (especially now.) but I guess the sour cream combined with the other ingredients might have contributed to the buttery taste.

As for my recipe, here you go!
Orange Sour Cream Loaf Cake Recipe type: Dessert Cuisine: American
**For the cake: 1 ½ cup all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking powder ½ teaspoon baking soda ¼ teaspoon salt 2 teaspoon orange zest 2 large eggs ¼ cup milk ¼ cup sour cream 1 teaspoon vanilla ½ cup oil 3 tablespoon orange juice ¾ cup sugar **For the glaze: 1 cup confectioners’ sugar Around 3 tablespoon water ¼ teaspoon vanilla
Preheat oven to 350F/180C. Line a 9 x 5 x 3-inch baking pan with parchment paper. In a bowl, sift flour together with salt, baking powder, baking soda, and keep aside. In a different bowl, add eggs, vanilla, sugar, and beat until combined. Add oil, sour cream, milk, orange juice, and beat well. Add the dry to the wet ingredients and mix well but for few seconds, over mixing will result in dry cake. Pour the batter into the previously prepared baking pan, bake for 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle of the cake comes out clean. Remove the loaf cake from the pan and place on cooling rack. When cool pour the glaze and let it sit for 5 minutes before cutting the loaf in slices. Making the glaze: Mix the glaze ingredients together until it comes to a pouring consistency. Pour the glaze over the cool cake. 3.5.3208
