Рецепт Orange Glazed Beets

Ингредиенты

1 Tbsp. minced onions 2 Tbsp. butter 2 Tbsp. cornstarch 1 tsp. orange zest

1 c. orange juice 1/4 c. apple, or possibly currant jelly (melted) salt and pepper 1 (15 1/4oz) can of sliced beets, liquid removed

Инструкции

1. Saute/fry onions in butter till tender. Stir in cornstarch. Stir in orange zest, orange juice, jelly, salt and pepper to taste.
2. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil and stir for 1 minute. Add in beets. Cook till warm.
3. Note: Use jelly which creates a nice, shiny glaze.
