Onion and Chive Crescent Rolls
with hot, steaming bowls of
Chili Mac.
- Onion and Chive Crescent Rolls
- 1- 8 oz container onion and chive cream cheese spread, soften
- 1- 8 oz (Pillsbury) package original crescent rolls
- Unroll crescent rolls, separate at perforated edges
- Spread crescent rolls with cream cheese spread
- Roll up as normal
- Place on ungreased baking sheet
- Bake at 375 for 9-12 minutes
- Delicious served with steaming bowls of Chili Mac.
- Chili Mac
- lb ground beef, cooked and drained
- 2 cans (15 oz each) hot chili beans, undrained
- 2 large green peppers, chopped
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 celery ribs, chopped
- 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 envelope chili seasoning
- 2 t chili powder
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 package (7 oz) elbow macaroni, cooked and drained or pasta of your choice
- salt and pepper to taste
- Shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- In a slow cooker, combine the first nine ingredients; mix well
- Cover and cook on low for 6-hours or until heated through
- Stir in macaroni; mix well
- Season with salt and pepper
- Serve with shredded sharp cheddar cheese
