- Mix yeast, 1/2 cup lukewarm water. Add in 2 tsp sugar. Set aside.Mix flour, raisins. Add in salt. Stir in yeast. Beat large eggs. Add in to flour mix. Stir well. Add in lowfat milk. Let dough stand, covered, 2 hrs. Stir down once. Let rise again. Stir.
- Drop by tbsp into hot oil (375 to 400 degrees). Dip spoon in lowfat milk. Dough will slide off easily.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bag. Put cooked donuts into bag. Shake gently to coat.
