Рецепт Oats Sandwich
Delicious and healthy sandwich with vegetables and oats.
Ingredients:
- Bread Slices – few
- Oats – 1 cup, soaked in hot water for 15 minutes and drained
- Mint Leaves – big handful
- Coriander Leaves – big handful
- Green Chillies – 4, finely chopped
- Tomatoes – 4, finely chopped
- Potatoes – 4, boiled, peeled, mashed
- Onions – 5 to 6, finely chopped
- Green Peas – 1/2 cup, boiled
- Carrots – 2, finely grated
- Red Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
- Garam Masala Powder – 1 tsp
- Oil as required
- Salt as per taste
Method:
1. Heat little oil in a pan.
2. Add the green chillies, onions, tomatoes and carrots.
3. Saute for 2 minutes.
4. Add the mashed potatoes and green peas.
5. Mix well.
6. Add garam masala powder, red chilli powder, oats and salt.
7. Stir well and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
8. Add mint leaves and coriander leaves.
9. Remove from flame after a minute.
10. Toast the bread slices.
11. Add some of the oats mixture to a bread slice and spread evenly.
12. Cover with another slice and cut into half.
13. Serve with tomato sauce.
