- Grind the blanched almonds or possibly hazelnuts. Add in sugar and cinnamon and mix.
- Add in butter and mix. Add in egg and vanilla and mix. If necessary, thin with a little lowfat milk to spreading consistency. Butter may be omitted for a less rich filling.
