I am not going to lie. Sometimes, just sometimes, I wish the hubby would grill for me. He doesn’t though. So this past Sunday, while he was out on the golf course, I grilled up the best tri tip that I have ever made. In the last stages, I basted it with this incredibly delicious barbecue sauce. So easy to throw together because no cooking is required. It saves time and keeps you out of a hot kitchen in the summer time.
Do you know that four adults live in my home and only two of us cook. Me, of course, and my step son, Hunter, who is 20. My hubby and baby daughter (24 years young), never cook.
What I don’t understand is how Hunter and I can make the pantry turn upside down in an instant.
So, when I caught myself getting ready to ask my sister to grab something out of the pantry and realized, I was a bit embarrassed to have her open it.
Between you and me, a messy pantry is a sign of a great cook.
I will leave you with a tip on slicing this cut of beef. I cut it in half, then cut it long way, against the grain.
