So what. I didn’t use the nicoise olive. It doesn’t matter. I didn’t have any. And guess what? The salad rocked!

My Kona rocks it too.

She is such a precious dog. This morning as we were all getting ready for the day, she sat at the end of the hallway. The bedroom door was closed as the hubby was getting dressed. I was in the kitchen (no surprise there). But Kona had a bird’s eye view of the door and me. This way she can make sure I am still here and be damn sure she doesn’t miss out when the bedroom door opens and hubby appears.

Sorry to digress a bit about my Kona, but she is just the cutest, smartest, most adorable dog ever.

Anyway, back to this salad. I just discovered that pickles and olives are basically zero in the low carb meal plan world. I love olives and I don’t mind a sour dill or pickle spear every now and then.

Next time I make this salad I am adding a pickle spear on the side. Just like deli’s do when they serve you a sandwich.

Do you know that I have gone 10 days in a row without any type of sugar, baked goods, grains or bread? I don’t miss it per se. I just wonder hold long it will be before I take a little splurge.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.
