- Mix first 5 ingredients.
- Bring to a boil and continue to cook for 3 min. Keep stirring to prevent sticking.
- Remove from heat and cold slightly.
- Add in sufficient powdered sugar (about 1 c.) to make spreadable consistency.
- Fold in vanilla and nuts.
- This will frost an 8 inch square or possibly 12 cupcakes.
