.%20I%20accept%20that%20I%20am%20clumsy%20and%20laidback%20and%20not%20so%20great%20in%20managing%20you.%20But%20that%20what%20I%20always%20am-Atleast%20all%20my%20well%20wishers%20(and%20detractors)%20say%20so%20:(%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20know%20I%20am%20never%20around%20celebrating%20your%20birthday%20which%20is%20the%20last%20day%20of%20the%20holiday%20ie%20Today.Earlier%20I%20thought%20I%20would%20never%20be%20celebrating%20your%20birthdays%20at%20all.%20I%20remember%20you%20felt%20very%20bad%20those%20days%20when%20I%20went%20around%20wishing%20Happy%20Birthdays%20to%20all%20other%20yummy%20blogs%20and%20did%20not%20even%20look%20at%20you.%20To%20be%20honest%20I%20never%20thought%20you%20would%20be%20there%20with%20me%20so%20long%20-3%20years%20is%20surely%20a%20long%20time.%20Can't%20believe%20we%20travelled%20together%20through%20different%20cuisines%20and%20tried%20and%20tasted%20several%20events%20and%20accidents%20together.And%20YES,%20I%20have%20already%20planned%20to%20do%20more%20of%20these%20in%20future.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20SURPRISE...%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20year%20I%20have%20decided%20to%20give%20you%20a%20nice%20treat%20-you%20know%20I%20love%20baking%20ok,WE%20love%20Baking.%20So.....%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E*****Stop%20Press***%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOK%20This%20is%20the%20private%20mail%20between%20CurryLeaf%20(ME)%20and%20TastyCurryLeaf(THE%20BLOG%20or%20TCL).%20I%20was%20about%20to%20post%20the%20cupcake%20when%20accidentally%20the%20blog%20took%20over%20and%20inserted%20the%20contents%20of%20the%20mail.%20I%20was%20just%20in%20time%20else%20it%20would%20have%20washed%20all%20the%20dirty%20linen%20in%20public%20--%20err%20or%20posted%20a%20burnt%20cake%20should%20I%20say.%20Well%20for%20you%20dear%20readers%20,look%20below%20for%20the%20delicious%20cupcakes%20that%20I%20presented%20to%20TCL%20on%20its%204th%20Birthday.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20have%20tried%20neapolitan%20cupcakes%20(OR%20black%20&%20white%20OR%20two%20tone)%20cupcakes%20where%20the%202-3%20flavours%20and%20colours%20are%20present%20in%20the%20same%20cupcake.%20I%20decided%20to%20use%20my%20heart%20shaped%20cupcake%20pan%20for%20this%20and%20they%20turned%20out%20great%20for%20the%20occasion.I%20have%20adapted%20the%20recipe%20from%20How%20to%20Eat%20a%20Cupcake.%20I%20am%20not%20sure%20I%20got%20the%20layering%20perfectly,but%20the%20taste%20was%20GREAT.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIngredients:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EVanilla%20Batter:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDry%20Mix:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EReplace%202%20tbsp%20of%20Flour%20with%20Cocoa%20Powder.%20Rest%20same%20as%20above.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPreparation:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EVanilla%20Batter:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMix%20the%20dry%20items%20together.%20In%20a%20large%20bowl,%20cream%20together%20butter%20and%20sugar%20at%20high%20speed%20till%20fluffy.%20Beat%20in%20the%20egg%20along%20with%20vanilla%20until%20combined.%20Beat%20in%20the%20flour%20mix%20and%20milk%20alternatively%20beginning%20and%20ending%20with%20flour%20at%20low%20speed%20until%20just%20combined.%20If%20the%20batter%20is%20too%20thick%20and%20if%20using%20egg%20replacer%20you%20can%20add%20in%20additional%201-2%20tbsp%20of%20water%20or%20milk%20itself%20till%20the%20cucpake%20consistency%20is%20reached.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EChocolate%20Batter:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESame%20as%20vanilla%20batter.%20But%20reduce%202%20tbsp%20of%20flour%20and%20whisk%20in%20cocoa%20powder%20with%20the%20dry%20items.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAssembling:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPreheat%20the%20oven%20to%20350F%20or%20180C.%20Grease%20and%20flour%20a%20muffin%20pan%20or%20appropriate%20molds.Pour%202-3%20tbsp%20of%20vanilla%20batter%20on%20one%20side%20of%20the%20mold.Fill%20the%20other%20side%20with%20equal%20amount%20of%20chocolate%20batter.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBake%20for%20about%2020-25%20minutes%20until%20a%20tester%20comes%20out%20clean.Cool%20for%20about%205%20minutes%20in%20the%20muffin%20pan%20or%20molds%20after%20which%20remove%20to%20a%20wire%20rack%20and%20cool%20completely.%20Mine%20were%20done%20at%2022nd%20minute,but%20I%20was%20a%20minute%20late%20%20in%20pulling%20them%20out.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFrost%20or%20ice%20as%20per%20you%20like.%20I%20served%20them%20as%20themselves,and%20also%20glazed%20the%20middle%20part%20with%20melted%20jam%20and%20topped%20with%20sprinkles.I%20also%20dusted%20the%20chocolate%20part%20with%20powdered%20sugar%20prior%20to%20using%20jam.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDrum%20Rolls%20please...........%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHappy%20BirthDay%20TastyCurryLeaf%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20know%20I%20am%20a%20bit%20laidback%20with%20you,but%20keeping%20fingers%20crossed%20that%20we%20can%20turn%20things%20around%20this%20year%20and%20also%20in%20future.Meanwhile%20enjoy%20the%20cupcakes.Have%20a%20Great%20Day.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20cupcakes%20are%20really%20simple%20to%20make%20and%20you%20can%20go%20for%20combinations%20like%20strawberry%20and%20choclate,%20or%20whatever%20you%20like.Mine%20do%20not%20have%20the%20perfect%20layering%20though.%20You%20can%20also%20make%20the%20horizontal%20partition%20rather%20that%20going%20for%20the%20vertical%20partition%20that%20I%20have%20tried.In%20case%20of%20former,%20you%20can%20go%20for%20vanilla%20-chocolate-vanilla%20layers%20so%20that%20choco%20part%20looks%20sandwiched%20between%20the%20vanilla%20parts.%20They%20turned%20out%20a%20bit%20spongy%20and%20soft-which%20was%20great.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHeres%20a%20broken%20heart%20....%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
