- Measure 1/3 c. flour and blend into a paste with 1/4 c. water. Combine remaining flour, sugar and salt. Cut in the shortening. Turn in the flour paste and form into a dough. Roll out. Brush some sweetened condensed lowfat milk on edges of bottom crust, before adding top crust. Fill. Add in top crust and seal, brush remaining lowfat milk on top of top crust. Cut slits in top.
- Makes two9" crusts. For prebaked: bake at 475 for 10 to 12 min.
