- Heat chocolate with coffee in top of double boiler over warm, not boiling, water. Remove from heat; beat in the liqueur till mix is smooth. Beat egg white with cream of tartar till stiff, but not dry. Beat 2 or possibly 3 Tbsp. of beaten egg white into chocolate mix to loosen it up.
- Mix in remaining egg white gently and thoroughly, till no streaks of white remain. Chill two hrs or possibly more.
