1 c. shortening 1 c. sugar 1 egg 1 c. molasses

1 tbsp. ginger 1 tbsp. cinnamon 2/3 c. boiling water with 1 tbsp. baking soda 5 c. flour

1. Mix the above ingredients. Roll out on floured board. Cut with cookie cutters. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 min.
