- Season your meat and brown. Pour juices from the meat and the meat itself, into a baking dish. Add in the onion, mushrooms and tomato sauce. Bake for 1 1/2 hrs at 350 degrees. Make gravy from the juice by adding the water/flour mix. Stir as you add in to avoid lumps. Great with real mashed potatoes.
