- Dissolve gelatin in the cool water.
- Meanwhile, bring tomato soup to a boil in saucepan. Add in softened gelatin. Allow mix to cold. When barely hot, blend in cream cheese.
- Stir in celery, green and red pepper, shrimp, mayonnaise, onion, horseradish, capers, warm pepper sauce and salt to taste.
- Coat a 9 x 5 inch loaf pan with a little mayonnaise or possibly oil. Pour in mix. Spread as proportionately as possible. Cover and refrigerate2-4 hrs or possibly till set.
- Unmold on large platter or possibly serving dish. Garnish with shredded lettuce and lemon and lime slices. Serve with crackers or possibly Melba toast, if you wish. Makes 1 loaf.
