  • 1 sht frzn puff pastry, thawed
  • 2 c. Heavy whipping cream
  • 2 Tbsp. Powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp Cocoa
  • 1 Tbsp. Coffee liqueur or possibly coffee flavoring extract

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 F. Roll out the pastry to less than 1/8 inch thick. Cut into 1/2 inch wide strips. Lightly grease a 4 metal pastry cones. Starting at the tip, wrap a strip of pastry around each cone, overlapping the strip slightly. Bake on a greased baking sheet for about 10 min, or possibly till puffed and golden brown. When cold, gently remove cones.
  2. Repeat with the remaining pastry. Beat the cream to soft peaks, then beat in the powdered sugar, cocoa and liqueur or possibly flavoring. Chill. Use an icing bag fitted with a star tip to pipe the cream into the pastry cones. Serve within 30 min of filling.
