Ингредиенты

  • 1 1/2 c. Lentils, washed
  • 4 c. Water
  • 3 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 lrg Onions, coarsely minced
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 3/4 c. Brown rice

Инструкции

  1. Bring lentils & water to a boil. Reduce heat, cover & simmer for 25 min. Heat 2 tb oil in a skillet & saute/fry onions & salt until the onions are transulcent. Heat remaining oil in another skillet & saute/fry the rice for 3 min. Combine lentils, rice & onion, cover tightly & simmer until the lentils & rice are render, about 1 hour. You may have to add in up to 2 extra c. water. Stir occasionally.
  2. Serve with a green salad.
