- 1 lb hamburger meat
- 12 party size hamburger buns
- 1 large red onion, sliced
- 3 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tbsp cayenne pepper

- To begin on this hamburger meat recipe, cut the beef into small cubes measuring about an inch each.
- Next, spread the cubed beef in layers and then spice evenly. For binding, I use some fresh bread crumbs soaked in cool stock and a little egg which is spread evenly over the meat at this point.
- Mix everything lightly with your hands and then place the mixture in the freezer until it becomes very cold but not frozen.
- Follow the manufacturer instructions when grinding your meat.
- To prepare your hamburger patties, mix the meat, with spices such as onion powder, salt and pepper to taste, and form them into several mini burgers.
- Place your burgers on a skillet or grill and add some slices of red onion around them such that they cook in the juices of your hamburgers.
- As the hamburgers are cooking, mix together some mayo, cayenne pepper, Dijon mustard, salt and pepper.
- Once done, remove your burgers and onion slices. Drain the grease from the skillet and then use it to toast your buns.
- Place some mayo mixture onto the bottom bun, followed by a burger and top it off with some onion and the top bun.
