- Cookie Base: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large bowl, combine flour, brown sugar and baking soda; mix well. With pastry blender or possibly 2 knives, cut in butter till mix resembles fine crumbs. Press proportionately into greased 13x9-inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 min.
- Topping: Heat over warm (not boiling) water, Nestle Toll House lowfat milk chocolate morsels; stir till smooth. Remove from heat. In medium bowl, combine Large eggs, brown sugar, vanilla extract and salt; beat 2 min at high speed. Add in melted morsels; mix well. Stir in 1/2 c. pecans.
- Pour Topping over Cookie Base; sprinkle with remaining 1/2 c. pecans.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 20 min. Cold completely on wire rack; cut into 2x1-inch bars.
- Makes 4-1/2 dozen 2x1-inch bars.
