  • 224 gm caster sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 28 gm cocoa
  • 112 gm margarine
  • 2 x Large eggs beaten with 5 tbsp evapourated lowfat milk and
  • 5 Tbsp. water few drops vanilla essence

I Sieve flour sugar salt and cocoa into a bowl 2 Rub in margarine till mix resembles fine breadcrumbs 3 Stir in Large eggs liquid and essence beat well 4 Divide mix between 2 x 8in (20.5cm) greased tins 5 Bake in preheated oven6 When cooked remove from tins allow to cold and then sandwich together with desired filling
  3. small oven: 180 degrees C approx 20-25 min PREHEATED middle shelffan oven: 170 degrees C approx 20-25 min PREHEATED
