%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHere's%20my%20first%20try%20at%20these%20little%20goodies.%20%20I%20got%20the%20recipe%20from%20here,%20and%20they%20claim%20to%20have%20the%20actual%20recipes%20from%20McDonald's%20menu%20from%20the%2050-70's.%20%20It's%20some%20interesting%20stuff,%20I%20recommend%20at%20least%20taking%20a%20peek.%20%20:)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnyway,%20this%20round%20went%20well,%20and%20the%20turned%20out%20well.%20%20I'm%20not%20too%20sure%20they%20taste%20a%20lot%20like%20McDonald's%20though.%20But%20I%20have%20some%20ideas%20as%20to%20why,%20and%20it%20has%20to%20do%20with%20what%20I%20used%20and%20not%20the%20recipe.%20%20They%20are%20nice%20and%20fluffy%20in%20the%20middle%20though...%20%20Anyway,%20I%20used%20fat-free%20buttermilk,%20and%20heart%20healthy%20bisquick%20instead%20of%20the%20regular%20version%20of%20both%20of%20those.%20%20So,%20I%20have%20a%20sneaking%20suspicion%20the%20full%20fat%20version%20of%20this%20recipe%20would%20taste%20just%20like%20McDonald's.%20%20So,%20I%20will%20have%20to%20try%20those%20soon.%20%20Probably%20not%20till%20the%20rest%20of%20the%20fat%20free%20buttermilk%20I%20bought%20is%20gone%20though....%20%20:)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHere's%20the%20recipe%20I%20used%20(on%20page%2027)%20and%20I%20will%20write%20it%20below%20too.%20%20Just%20a%20note,%20I%20did%20a%20half%20batch%20since%20I%20was%20just%20testing%20it,%20but%20I%20will%20write%20the%20full%20recipe%20below.)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMcDonald's%20Biscuits:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1.%20Preheat%20oven%20to%20450%20degrees.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E2.%20Combine%20the%20baking%20mix,%20buttermilk,%20sugar,%20salt,%20and%20half%20of%20the%20melted%20margarine%20in%20a%20medium%20bowl.%20Mix%20until%20well-blended.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E3.%20Turn%20dough%20out%20onto%20a%20floured%20surface%20and%20knead%20for%20about%2030%20seconds,%20or%20until%20dough%20becomes%20elastic.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E4.%20Roll%20dough%20to%20about%203/4%20inch%20thick%20and%20punch%20out%20biscuits%20using%20a%203%20inch%20cutter.%20Arrange%20the%20punched-out%20dough%20on%20an%20ungreased%20baking%20sheet,%20and%20bake%20for%2010-12%20minutes%20or%20until%20the%20biscuits%20are%20golden%20on%20top%20and%20have%20doubled%20in%20height.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E5.%20Remove%20the%20biscuits%20from%20the%20oven%20and%20immediately%20brush%20each%20one%20with%20a%20light%20coating%20of%20the%20remaining%20melted%20margarine.%20Serve%20warm.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMhmmmm,%20enjoy!!%20%20%20:)%20%20Let%20me%20know%20what%20you%20think....and%20I%20will%20let%20you%20know%20when%20I%20try%20these%20with%20regular%20bisquick%20and%20buttermilk.%20%20:)%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
