.%20Frankly,%20I'm%20astounded%20I've%20never%20posted%20it,%20but%20then%20it's%20a%20pretty%20common%20recipe.%20We%20made%20an%20unusual%20chocolate%20bar%20in%20that%20class%20as%20well,%20which%20was%20one%20of%20my%20first%20blog%20posts.%20When%20he%20comes%20to%20visit,%20one%20of%20my%20sons%20insists%20the%20freezer%20contain%20bags%20of%20each...the%20coconut/nut%20bars%20with%20lemon%20glaze%20and%20the%20chocolate%20bars.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnyway...back%20to%20my%20second%20lemon%20bar%20of%20choice,%20which%20is%20the%20recipe%20for%20this%20post.%20I'm%20quite%20certain%20it%20came%20from%20the%20Boston%20Junior%20League%20Cookbook,%20long%20missing%20from%20my%20shelf.%20They%20were%20called%20Lemon%20Loves%20and%20now%20that%20I%20make%20them%20with%20some%20Meyer%20lemons,%20I%20altered%20the%20name%20just%20a%20bit.%20Meyer%20lemons%20are%20sweeter%20and%20more%20floral%20than%20regular%20lemons%20so%20I%20used%20half%20Meyer%20lemon%20juice%20and%20half%20regular%20so%20that%20perky,%20tart%20flavor%20is%20still%20there.%20Then%20I%20took%20a%20closeup%20of%20the%20bar%20because%20I%20wanted%20you%20to%20see%20this%20is%20not%20your%20usual%20lemon%20bar.%20It's%20more%20like%20a%20lemon%20pie%20bar.%20If%20you're%20a%20lemon%20addict%20like%20my%20sister,%20you're%20gonna%20love%20these.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMeyer%20Lemon%20Loves%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIngredients:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMethod:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBlend%20flour,%20butter%20and%20powdered%20sugar.%20Press%20into%20a%20well%20greased%20and%20floured%209%20by%2013%20inch%20pan.%20Bake%20at%20350%20for%2025%20minutes.%20Watch%20closely.%20Beat%20eggs%20until%20frothy.%20Add%20remaining%20ingredients%20and%20beat%20until%20smooth.%20Pour%20onto%20the%20crust%20and%20bake%2020%20to%2025%20minutes%20more%20at%20350.%20Dust%20with%20powdered%20sugar,%20cut%20into%20squares%20(if%20you%20don't%20do%20it%20before%20refrigerating,%20they're%20difficult%20to%20cut;%20I'd%20forgotten,%20hence%20the%20irregularity%20of%20my%20squares%20below)%20and%20then%20refrigerate.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
