Ингредиенты

  • 2 c. Granulated sugar
  • 1/4 c. Water
  • 1 c. Evaporated lowfat milk (don't dilute)
  • 1 pch Of salt
  • 2 tsp Orange peel, grated

Инструкции

  1. Using a wooden spoon, stir a c. of sugar into frypan till caramelized.
  2. Add in water. Stir till sugar dissolves. Add in remaining sugar, lowfat milk, and salt.
  3. Plae over low heat and stir till mix boils. Cook, stirring till it reaches softball stage. Remove from heat. Cold to lukewarm, without stirring. Add in orange peel. Beat till candy loses gloss and holds its shape when dropped from spoon. Pour into lightly buttered 8-inch square pan and cut when cold.
