,%20Cauliflower%20puree%20and%20Butternut%20Squash%20puree,%20to%20replace%20my%20old%20%22white%20bread%22%20mashed%20potatoes.%20%20You%20know%20I%20love%20Mashed%20Potatoes%20so%20I%20am%20trying%20to%20make%20them%20sound%20unappealing%20to%20convince%20myself%20I%20should%20not%20cheat%20and%20eat%20them!%20LOL.%20%20White%20bread%20is%20my%20new%20catch%20phrase%20this%20week%20because%20eating%20the%20Paleo%20way%20has%20really%20added%20lots%20of%20COLOR%20to%20my%20life,%20literally!%20%20Eating%20my%20rainbow!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20know%20I%20have%20been%20a%20major%20slacker%20of%20the%20gardening%20journal%20entries%20on%20my%20blog%20this%20summer.%20%20Its%20pretty%20bad%20of%20me%20considering%20I%20need%20to%20journal%20our%20gardening%20adventures%20for%20our%20own%20sake.%20%20Rest%20assumed,%20our%20garden%20is%20alive%20and%20thriving%20this%20year%20with%20minimal%20bug%20problems.%20%20My%20husband%20has%20been%20dusting%20with%20powdered%20BT%20to%20keep%20the%20caterpillars%20at%20bay%20and%20we%20planted%20no%20zucchini%20(sob)%20to%20give%20a%20rest%20from%20those%20pesky%20zucchini%20bugs.%20%20Last%20year%20they%20were%20just%20so%20bad.%20%20So%20who%20do%20I%20go%20into%20this%20whole%20speal%20about%20gardening?%20To%20tell%20you%20that%20I%20have%20two%20HUGE%20cabbages%20to%20use%20up%20so%20I%20might%20just%20have%20to%20put%20it%20on%20the%20menu%20every%20day%20for%20FOUR%20days%20to%20use%20those%20monster%20cabbages%20up.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOkay,%20enough%20chatter!%20%20Here%20is%20the%20line%20up:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMonday:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFried%20Dijon%20Crusted%20Pork%20Chops,%20Sauteed%20Cabbage%20and%20String%20Beans%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENo%20real%20recipe%20here,%20tho%20I%20may%20blog%20it%20later.%20%20I%20am%20going%20to%20paint%20some%20Horseradish%20mustard%20(my%20favorite)%20onto%20the%20chops%20and%20coat%20them%20with%20almond%20flour%20and%20pan%20fry.%20%20String%20Beans%20are%20Rosedale%20Diet%20approved%20but%20not%20Paleo.%20%20Not%20entirely%20sure%20why%20Rosedale%20says%20they%20are%20okay,%20but%20I%20most%20definitely%20feel%20like%20Rosedale%20is%20a%20harder%20diet%20to%20follow.%20%20Either%20way,%20I%20have%20to%20use%20them%20up%20since%20I%20had%20them%20pre-diet.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETuesday:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20recipe%20uses%20Cabbage%20cut%20into%20long%20strands%20for%20the%20noodles.%20%20I%20happen%20to%20have%20all%20the%20ingredients%20so%20I%20figured%20I%20would%20give%20it%20a%20try.%20%20I%20would%20like%20to%20add%20bean%20sprouts%20because%20I%20love%20them%20and%20because%20I%20am%20sure%20they%20would%20do%20a%20great%20job%20looking%20like%20mock%20noodles!%20%20Not%20sure%20if%20they%20are%20Paleo%20diet%20approved%20tho,%20I'm%20still%20to%20new.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20is%20my%20Chop%20Suey%20Picture,%20but%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Elack%20of%20an%20actual%20picture%20forces%20me%20to%20put%20in%20this%20replacement!Wednesday:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESausage%20and%20Cabbage%20noodles%20with%20Fried%20Apples%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20looks%20to%20be%20basically%20the%20Veggie%20Lo%20Mein%20dish%20with%20Ground%20Sausage%20and%20minus%20the%20extra%20veggies.%20Her%20description%20of%20how%20their%20bellies%20were%20full%20and%20the%20kids%20love%20it%20convinced%20me%20that%20I%20must%20try%20this%20recipe.%20%20Lots%20of%20positive%20comments%20underneath%20too.%20%20Love%20new%20and%20creative%20ways%20to%20use%20my%20cabbage!!!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThursday:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20never%20made%20the%20cauliflower%20rice%20last%20week%20with%20the%20burgers,%20I%20got%20too%20lazy%20and%20served%20sliced%20tomato%20and%20onions%20drizzled%20with%20EVOO%20instead.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFriday:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHamburger%20Sliders,%20Garlic%20Sauteed%20Spinach,%20fried%20Mushrooms.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20am%20calling%20them%20sliders%20because%20serving%20bun-less%20hamburgers%20sounds%20just%20plan%20old%20boring!%20;-)%20%20Nothing%20boring%20about%20the%20flavor%20though.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESaturday:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFried%20Boneless%20(skin%20on)%20Chicken%20Thighs,%20Roasted%20Broccoli%20drizzled%20with%20Balsamic%20Vinegar,%20Grilled%20Portobello%20Mushrooms%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESunday:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EA%20rework%20of%20an%20old%20favorite.%20%20This%20time%20I%20am%20using%20the%20larger%20chicken%20legs%20and%20frying%20them%20like%20like%20I%20would%20buffalo%20wings.%20%20Next%20they%20get%20tossed%20in%20that%20red%20sauce%20we%20love%20enough%20to%20slurp%20off%20our%20plate.%20%20I'll%20serve%20these%20with%20a%20hearty%20portion%20of%20celery%20and%20try%20and%20find%20a%20paleo%20friendly%20sauce%20to%20accompany%20to%20replace%20the%20Ranch%20Dressing.%20%20Any%20ideas%20for%20said%20sauce?%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
