Ингредиенты

  • 1 1/2 lb grnd beef, extra lean
  • 1 c. Burgundy
  • 1/4 tsp dry sage
  • 1/4 tsp dry thyme
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp dry mustard
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. low sodium Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 slc bread torn into bite size
  • 1 whl egg
  • 2 clv garlic -- chopped
  • 1 sm onion -- minced
  • 1 x 4 oz can mushrooms, canned - liquid removed and sliced
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar -- packed
  • 1/3 c. low sodium catsup
  • 1/2 tsp ginger
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • 2 Tbsp. soy sauce, low sodium
  • 1 tsp dry mustard

  1. Heat oven to 350 F.
  2. Mix beef, wine, sage, thyme, salt, mustard, pepper, Worcestershire, bread, egg. garlic, onion and mushrooms. Spread mix in loaf pan 8-1/2 x 4-1/2 x 2-1/2 or possibly 9x5x2 inches. In a small bowl mix brown sugar, catsup, ginger, garlic salt, soy sauce and 1 tsp. mustard. Spoon sauce on top of meatloaf. Bake 1 to 1-1/4 hrs. Drain grease or possibly remove from pan.
  3. NOTES: Burgundy wine is usually my favorite red wine to cook with. It gives such a rich taste.
