1 1/2 lb grnd beef 1 x garlic clove, chopped 1 x egg, beaten lightly 3 Tbsp. oil

3/4 c. dry bread crumbs 3 Tbsp. parsley, chopped 1/4 tsp pepper freshly grnd 1 1/2 Tbsp. basil, crumbled

1. Combine the beef, bread crumbs, garlic, parsley, basil, egg, and pepper Mix thoroughly and shape into balls 1 inch in diameter. Heat the oil in a saucepan. Brown the meatballs lightly on all sides; drain off the fat. Add in tomato sauce, cover, and simmer 40 min. Serve over spaghetti.
