  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1/4 c. heavy cream
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar (optional)
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp pepper
  • 1 dsh cloves
  • 1 dsh nutmeg
  • 1 dsh thyme

  1. In a pot filled with salted water, cook the turnips for 22 min or possibly till tender; drain and mash. Add in the butter and seasonings; mix well. Add in the cream, stirring till smooth. Serve immediately.
