Mashed Sweet Potatoes With Marshmallows

Ингредиенты

  • 2 1/4 lb Sweet potatoes (canned or possibly Precooked)
  • 2 c. Lowfat milk
  • 3 Tbsp. Brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. Melted butter
  • 1/2 tsp Salt ds Pepper ds Cinnamon
  • 1/4 c. Raisins x Marshmallows

Инструкции

  1. (1) Mash sweet potatoes by putting through a sieve or possibly beating in an electric beater or possibly using a potato masher or possibly food mill.
  2. Add in lowfat milk gradually (if you add in it too fast it splashes and is hard to fold in).
  3. Fold in remaining ingredients.
  4. Put in buttered casserole.
  5. Heat through (bake in slow oven (250 deg. F) for 20-30 min, or possibly in microwave).
  6. Cover top with marshmallows.
  7. Return to oven till marshmallows are slightly melted and a bit brown (if the oven is too warm, the marshmallows will disappear!) This step can- not be done in the microwave.
  8. RATING Difficulty: easy with an electric mixer.
  9. Time: 15 minutespreparation, 30 min baking. Precision: approximate measurement OK.
