Рецепт Masala Kuska
A delicious vegetarian kuska rice popular in South India.
Ingredients:
- Raw Rice – 1 cup
- Milk – 2 cups
- Onion – 1, finely chopped
- Tomato – 1, finely chopped
- Green Chillies – 3
- Mint Leaves – handful, chopped
- Coriander Leaves – handful, chopped
- Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 tsp
- Cinnamon – 1
- Cardamom – 1
- Bay Leaf – 1
- Clove – 1
- Ghee as required
- Oil as required
- Salt as per taste
Method:
1. Heat little oil in a pan.
2. Add the onions, tomatoes, green chillies, mint leaves and coriander leaves.
3. Saute well for 3 to 4 minutes.
4. Remove and grind to a smooth paste.
5. In a pressure pan, add little ghee and oil.
6. Fry the cloves, bay leaf, cinnamon and cardamom.
7. Add the ground paste and ginger garlic paste.
8. Add rice, milk and salt.
9. Mix well and pressure cook without weight for 2 minutes.
10. Add the weight, reduce flame and cook for 10 minutes.
11. Remove and serve hot with onion raita.
