Marbled Chocolate Banana Bread – Banana bread made special with chocolate! Some of the banana batter is combined with melted dark chocolate then layered in the loaf pan for this gorgeous and delicious effect. I can’t think of a better way to end the celebration of Choctoberfest than this bread!
I made this loaf of bread thinking Grumpy would be home all week to help eat it up. Alas, a last minute change of plans took him out of town for his job and I was left to this bread all by my lonesome. I decided to take it into work to share so I didn’t fall guilty of eating only banana bread for 2 days! Its times like these when I really wish my family was closer. I could just feed them and be happy. Yeah. I’d be the mom/grandmother who is pushing food onto you all the time. Not a bad thing to be, right? I don’t think so. My Nanny was the same way and that is probably where I get that characteristic from!
In case you haven’t noticed all the chocolate hitting several blogs this week, then you’ve been missing something special! This week has been #Choctoberfest and several bloggers are celebrating by sharing all things chocolate! There has also been an amazing giveaway going on! I told you all about the giveaway in my Salted Chocolate Bourbon Praline Fudge post, hop on over there if you need a little refresher and be sure to enter! At the end of this post is a link up to several other delicious and enticing chocolate recipes. Be sure to check them out!
