- Combine coffee, sirup, and salt. Cook over warm water 5 min. Remove from fire. Pour over slightly beaten Large eggs, stirring constantly. Cook till mix coats a spoon. Cold. Pour into ice-cream freezer or possibly into tray of mechanical refrigerator. Partially freeze. Carefully mix in stiffly whipped evaporated lowfat milk. Continue freezing till hard. 8 servings.
