- Clean plums, cook in water till skins are tender, 10 to 15 min. Cold and remove stones. Add in sugar, heat slowly till sugar is dissolved, then cook rapidly till thick. Partially cold, stirring occasionally, pour into sterile jars and seal.
- Makes 1/2 pint.
