Рецепт Magic Bars
Magic Bars
The Hubby asked why these are called “Magic Bars” the only thing I could come up with was “because they magically disappear”! And truth be told–they didn’t last long sitting on the counter. This recipe is all over the place and it is a great one because you can use up all kinds of odds and ends of goodies that you have. I don’t think that there’s a wrong way to make it…
Magic Bars
Ingredients:
- 3 cups (I used 2 packages) ground graham crackers
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 cups butter-melted
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup butterscotch chips
- 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 1/2 cups coconut-shredded
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line a 9 x 13 baking dish with parchment paper-letting the ends hang over about 3 inches to aid in getting the dessert out of the pan.
Place the graham crackers (crumbled) into a food processor and process until fine. Add in the sugar and pour in the butter, process until fully combined. Press into the bottom of the baking dish and bake for 10 minutes.
Let crust cool for 10-15 minutes, then sprinkle with the chips (this is where you could use anything you have on hand). Pour the condensed milk over the chips and top with the coconut. Bake for 15 minutes or until browned. Cool completely (you may need to refrigerate a little) then cut into squares.
