Ингредиенты

  • 3 slices minced bacon
  • 10 to 12 pods sliced floured okra
  • 1 minced sweet red onion
  • 1 green pepper, minced
  • 1 red pepper, minced
  • 1 yellow pepper, minced
  • 1/2 c. minced celery, some leaves
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • 1/3 c. butter
  • 3 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 pound can tomatoes or possibly fresh tomatoes
  • 1 (No. 2) can tomato or possibly V-8 juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Dash of cayenne to taste
  • 2 lbs. crab (fresh or possibly imitation)
  • 1 pound prawn, 1/2 pound imitation lobster, the more seafood the better

Инструкции

  1. Add in butter, extra virgin olive oil, bacon to a large kettle. Simmer till bacon is crisp. Add in floured okra, onion, green, red and yellow pepper, minced celery, minced garlic. Cook till tender, but not browned. Add in tomatoes, juice, salt, cayenne and seafood. Let simmer for about an hour. Serve in bowls with garlic bread. Should be the consistency of a thick soup.
