%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E(This%20is%20my%20favorite%20way%20to%20cook%20Pork%20Chops.%20%20I%20love%20food%20with%20a%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E'tropical'%20flavor.%20Darlene)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIngredients:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eless%20fat%20is%20best%20or%20use%20buffalo%20meat%20for%20best%20results.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECook%20burgers%20on%20grill%20over%20medium%20coals%20for%20about%20thirty%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eminutes%20or%20cook%20on%20indoor%20grill%20five%20minutes%20on%20each%20side%20at%20350%20degrees.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETop%20with%20pepper%20Jack%20cheese%20while%20burgers%20are%20still%20hot.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAdd%20a%20slice%20of%20pineapple,%20a%20piece%20of%20lettuce%20and%20a%20thin%20tomato%20slice%20to%20each%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eburger.%20Serve%20on%20a%20sesame%20seed%20bun.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELooking%20for%20Pork%20Chop%20McQuade%20%E2%80%93%20Review%20by%20Martha%20A.%20Cheves,%20Author%20of%20Stir,%20Laugh,%20Repeat;%20Think%20With%20Your%20Taste%20Buds;%20A%20Book%20and%20A%20Dish%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E%E2%80%98My%20illicit%20love%20affair%20began%20with%20a%20jar%20of%20homemade%20pickles.%20The%20whole%20thing%20started%20the%20same%20day%20Uncle%20Faucett%20got%20arrested%20for%20indecent%20exposure.%20I%E2%80%99d%20gotten%20up%20before%20daylight%20to%20fix%20breakfast%20for%20Bob.%20Then%20like%20he%20did%20every%20day,%20Uncle%20Faucett%20pecked%20on%20my%20front%20door%20and,%20like%20I%20did%20every%20day,%20I%20opened%20it.%20%E2%80%9CDamn%20fool%20chickens%20ain%E2%80%99t%20layin,%E2%80%9D%20he%20muttered.%20%E2%80%9CWhere%E2%80%99s%20the%20damn%20fool%20chickens?%E2%80%9D%20He%20leaned%20on%20two%20canes.%20His%20black-rimmed%20spectacles,%20like%20two%20magnifying%20glasses,%20made%20his%20gray%20eyes%20look%20too%20big%20for%20his%20body.%20%E2%80%9CWe%20sold%20them%20last%20Thursday,%E2%80%9D%20I%20said.%20%E2%80%9CRemember?%20Daddy%20took%20them%20off.%E2%80%9D%20%E2%80%9COh,%20I%20forgot,%E2%80%9D%20he%20mumbled%20and%20shuffled%20away.%20I%20knew%20he%20would%20go%20stand%20on%20the%20edge%20of%20our%20lane%20and%20catch%20a%20ride%20into%20town%20with%20some%20local%20farmer.%20He%20had%20done%20that%20each%20morning%20since%20he%20had%20lost%20his%20license,%20the%20unfortunate%20results%20of%20an%20accident%20involving%20a%20cattle%20trailer.%20Every%20morning%20he%20asked%20about%20the%20chickens%20and%20every%20morning%20I%20told%20him%20Daddy%20had%20sold%20them%20on%20Thursday,%20because%20even%20though%20it%20had%20happened%20when%20I%20was%20a%20girl%20and%20Daddy%20was%20now%20long%20gone,%20I%20remembered%20clearly%20that%20my%20father%20had%20sold%20the%20last%20of%20our%20chickens%20on%20a%20Thursday.%E2%80%99%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20was%20the%20day%20that%20Raspberry%20Cupcake%20McQuade%20and%20her%20twin%20sister%20Cookie%20Thompson%20found%20themselves%20visiting%20the%20local%20police%20station%20and%20coming%20face%20to%20face%20with%20Sheriff%20Daniel%20Ransom.%20Apparently%20Uncle%20Faucett%20had%20run%20across%20a%20box,%20took%20his%20clothes%20off%20and%20was%20walking%20around%20town%20wearing%20just%20the%20box.%20This%20also%20became%20the%20beginning%20of%20changes%20to%20come%20in%20the%20lives%20of%20Cupcake,%20Cookie%20and%20Sheriff%20Ransom.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECupcake%20and%20Cookie%20both%20have%20their%20own%20problems.%20Cupcake%20is%20married%20to%20Bob%20%E2%80%98Pork%20Chop%E2%80%99%20McQuade%20who%20has%20papered%20their%20trailer%20with%20tin%20foil%20in%20the%20attempt%20to%20keep%20the%20government%20and%20aliens%20from%20being%20able%20to%20penetrate%20their%20home%20with%20their%20spy%20technology.%20He%20is%20so%20paranoid%20that%20the%20government%20is%20abducting%20their%20own%20people%20that%20he%20has%20joined%20a%20militia%20and%20is%20storing%20arms%20to%20defend%20himself.%20So,%20when%20he%20comes%20up%20missing,%20was%20he%20abducted%20by%20aliens%20or%20his%20own%20government?%20Cookie%20is%20the%20total%20opposite%20of%20her%20sister%20Cupcake.%20She%20is%20pushing%20500%20lbs.%20and%20becomes%20depressed%20when%20any%20form%20of%20bad%20news%20comes%20her%20way.%20Then%20we%20have%20Sheriff%20Ranson%20who%20became%20sheriff%20after%20his%20wife%20was%20hit%20by%20a%20drunk%20driver.%20%20He%20wanted%20to%20do%20his%20part%20to%20prevent%20this%20from%20happening%20to%20anyone%20else.%20%20And%20of%20course%20there%20is%20Uncle%20Faucett%20who%20is%20approaching%2094%20and%20seems%20to%20be%20losing%20his%20memory%20as%20well%20as%20some%20of%20his%20facilities.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAfter%20reading%20the%20first%20page%20of%20this%20book%20I%20knew%20it%20was%20going%20to%20be%20good.%20What%20I%20didn%E2%80%99t%20know%20was%20that%20it%20was%20going%20to%20be%20more%20than%20good,%20it%20was%20going%20to%20be%20great!%20With%20names%20like%20Cupcake%20and%20Cookie,%20I%20found%20humor,%20but%20that%20wasn%E2%80%99t%20all.%20This%20book%20is%20filled%20with%20love,%20compassion,%20heartaches,%20and%20sorrow.%20I%20don%E2%80%99t%20believe%20I%E2%80%99ve%20ever%20read%20a%20book%20that%20makes%20me%20feel%20so%20many%20emotions%20at%20the%20same%20time.%20And%20when%20you%20put%20all%20of%20these%20together%20you%20have%20Looking%20for%20Pork%20Chop%20McQuade%20in%20the%20form%20of%20a%20book%20that%20I%20didn%E2%80%99t%20want%20to%20put%20down.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
