- Heat butter in heavy large saucepan over medium heat. Add in potato and onion.
- Cook till onion in tender, about 6 min. Add in sufficient bottled clam juice to reserved clam broth to measure 2 c.. Add in to saucepan. Cover and cook till potato is tender, about 12 min. Add in clams, cream and dill. Bring to a simmer. Season with salt and pepper.
