%20and%20doesn%E2%80%99t%20make%20outrageous%20claims.%20%20She%20does%20a%20great%20job%20of%20explaining%20why%20and%20how%20her%20recipes%20can%20help%20you%20lose%20weight.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMany%20of%20the%20recipes%20are%20simple%20assembly%20and%20prep,%20and%20if%20you%20are%20a%20more%20advanced%20cook%20this%20book%20may%20be%20too%20basic%20for%20you.%20%20But%20if%20you%20are%20struggling%20in%20the%20kitchen%20or%20have%20made%20a%20recent%20commitment%20to%20prepare%20healthier%20meals%20%E2%80%93%20whether%20you%20are%20looking%20to%20lose%20weight%20or%20just%20lead%20a%20healthy%20life%20%E2%80%93%20I%20wholeheartedly%20recommend%20purchasing%20this%20book.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20Goods:%20Recipes%20I%20Made%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E%7B1%7D%20Lentil%20Tapenade%20(Wrap).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20recipe%20combined%20some%20of%20Adam%E2%80%99s%20favorite%20flavors%20%E2%80%93%20lentils,%20olive%20tapenade,%20and%20feta%20%E2%80%93%20that%20I%20would%20not%20have%20thought%20to%20put%20together%20on%20my%20own.%20%20It%20took%20less%20than%205%20minutes%20to%20throw%20together%20and%20we%20loved%20the%20final%20result.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20recipe%20was%20for%20a%20wrap,%20but%20we%20made%20a%20(double)%20batch%20of%20the%20spread%20and%20served%20it%20as%20part%20of%20a%20cheese%20plate%20instead.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELentil%20tapenade,%20buffalo%20blue%20cheese%20kettle%20chips,%20green%20grapes,%20pesto%20gouda,%20and%20an%20amazing%20goat%E2%80%99s%20milk%20cheddar.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E%7B2%7D%20BBQ%20Chicken%20over%20Polenta.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20was%20one%20of%20those%20basic%20prep%20recipes;%20not%20something%20I%20would%20normally%20look%20for%20in%20a%20cookbook%20but%20a%20great%20find%20on%20a%20late%20night%20when%20I%20would%20have%20ordered%20take-out%20(for%208%20billion%20calories)%20but%20spent%205%20minutes%20throwing%20this%20together%20instead%20(for%20less%20than%20200%20calories%20a%20serving%20with%2016%20grams%20of%20protein).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EServed%20with%20green%20beans.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFYI,%20I%20did%20skew%20my%20serving%20ratio%20a%20bit%20towards%20chicken%20versus%20polenta.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E%7B3%7D%20Really%20Low%20Fat%20Greek%20Yogurt%20Dressing.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EServed%20on%20a%20salad,%20obviously.%20%20With%20romaine,%20smoked%20almonds,%20raisins,%20and%20pesto%20gouda.%20%20I%20liked%20the%20tang%20of%20this%20a%20lot.%20%20And%20I%20loved%20that%20there%20were%20only%20about%2035%20calories%20a%20serving,%20because%20the%20husband%20tends%20to%20coat%20his%20salads%20in%20dressing.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EServed%20with%E2%80%A6%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E%7B4%7D%20Eggless%20Egg%20Salad.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20was%20our%20favorite%20recipe%20of%20the%20bunch.%20%20It%20has%20a%20tofu%20base,%20but%20an%20avowed%20tofu%20hater%20wouldn%E2%80%99t%20know%20it%20was%20in%20there%20until%20you%20told%20them.%20%20I%20don%E2%80%99t%20usually%20put%20so%20many%20veggies%20in%20my%20egg%20salad%20(though%20I%20totally%20should)%20so%20I%20tasted%20this%20before%20I%20added%20in%20most%20of%20the%20produce%20and%20yep,%20it%20tasted%20just%20like%20egg%20salad!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20was%20delicious,%20and%20vegan%20to%20boot.%20%20Definitely%20a%20recipe%20I%20plan%20on%20making%20again.%20%20And%20you%20can%20make%20it%20too,%20since%20Jamie%20said%20it%20was%20ok%20to%20share%20the%20recipe%20with%20you%20guys%20(click%20on%20the%20image%20to%20enlarge)%20%E2%80%93%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDid%20you%20make%20any%20health%20related%20resolutions%20this%20New%20Years?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELike%20Loading...%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERelated%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
