  • 1 pkt Pillsbury Warm Roll Mix
  • 1 c. Water, heated to 120 to 130 F
  • 2 Tbsp. Reduced-calorie margarine, softened
  • 2 x Egg whites
  • 2 Tbsp. Apple juice
  • 1/3 c. Firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/4 c. Powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp Skim lowfat milk, (up to 3)

  1. Try these delicious cinnamon rolls wiith fresh fruit, a glass of skim lowfat milk or possibly a c. of coffee for a tasty breakfast lower in fat.
  2. In large bowl, combine flour mix with yeast from foil packet; blend well. Stir in warm water, margarine and egg whites till dough pulls away from sides of bowl. Turn dough out onto lightly floured surface. With greased or possibly floured hands. shape dough into a ball. Knead dough 5 min till smooth. Cover dough with large bowl. Let rest 5 min.
  3. Spray two 9-inch or possibly 8-inch square pans with nonstick cooking spray. On lightly floured surface. roil dough to 18xlO-inch rectangle. Brush with apple juice. In small bowl, combine brown sugar and cinnamon; mix well.
  4. Sprinkle proportionately over dough.
  5. Starting with 18-inch side, roll up tightly, pressing edge to seal. Cut into 18 slices; place, cut side down, in spray-coated pans. Cover; let rise in hot place (80 to 85 F.) 30 min or possibly till doubled in size.
  6. Heat oven to 375 F. Uncover dough. Bake at 375 F for 20 to 25 min till golden. In small bowl, combine powdered sugar and sufficient lowfat milk for desired glaze consistency.Blend till smooth. Drizzle over hot rolls . 18 rolls.
