  • 2 med potatoes -- peeled and diced
  • 1 med onion -- minced
  • 2 x carrots -- scraped and minced
  • 1 stalk celery -- minced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 6 1/2 ounce clams, canned -- chopped, undrained
  • 1 c. skim lowfat milk

  1. Combine first 6 ingredients in a large saucepan; bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 20 min or possibly till vegetables are tender. Add in clams and lowfat milk; cover and simmer 5 min.
  2. Yield: 6 servings.
