This is easy on the calories and fat, making it an option for heart-healthy and diabetes-friendly diets. Technically this is a sherbet as it contains dairy, which sorbets do not. But whatever you wish to call it, this dessert is easy on the waistline, yet very satisfying.

- Pour milk into bottom of food processor. Shake berries on top of milk and add sweetener to taste. Process in 1-2 minute increments, stopping to scrape down and break up fruit occasionally. Continue processing until sorbet is thick and smooth.
- Serve immediately in small bowls.
- YIELD: Approximately six one-half cup servings.
