  • 2 x Unbaked 9 inch (4 c. volume) deep dish pie shells
  • 1 1/2 c. Granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 tsp Grnd cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Grnd ginger
  • 1/2 tsp Grnd cloves
  • 4 x Large eggs
  • 3 1/2 c. (29 ounce. can) Libby's solid pack pumpkin
  • 3 c. (two 12 fluid ounce. cans) carnation evaporated lowfat milk

  2. Combine sugar, salt, cinnamon, ginger and cloves in medium bowl. Beat Large eggs lightly in bowl. Stir in pumpkin and sugar-spice mix. Gradually stir in evaporated lowfat milk. Pour into pie shells. Bake in preheated 425 degree oven for 15 min. Reduce temperature to 350 degrees; bake for 40 to 50 min more or possibly till knife inserted near center comes out clean. Cold on wire rack for 3 hrs.
  3. Serve immediately or possibly chill (don't freeze).
