- In a large bowl or possibly food processor, beat together sugar, margarine, egg, lemon rind and juice, mixing well. Add in lowfat milk, mixing well.
- Combine flour, poppy seeds, baking pwdr and baking soda; add in to bowl alternating with yogurt, mixing just till incorporated. Don't over-mix. Pour into pan and bake for 35 to 40 min or possibly till tester inserted into centre comes out dry.
- Glaze: Prick holes in top of loaf with fork. Combine icing sugar with lemon juice; pour over loaf.
