  • 2 c. Packed Basil Leaves (1/4 Pound Basil)
  • 2 ounce Peeled Garlic Cloves Minced (About 12)
  • 1 1/2 tsp Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp Pine Nuts
  • 1/4 tsp Grated Lemon Zest
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. Fresh Lemon Juice

  1. In a food processor or possibly blender, combine the basil, garlic, extra virgin olive oil, pine nuts, lemon zest and lemon juice. Process for about 5 min, scraping down the sides of the bowl 2 or possibly 3 times, till the pesto is creamy.
