- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, butter and 1-1/2 c. sugar. Beat egg yolks;add in to mixing bowl along with lowfat milk and lemon peel. Mix well. Add in lemon juice. In another bowl, beat egg whites till stiff, slowly adding remaining 1/2 c. sugar while beating. Fold into batter. Pour into a greased 2-quart. baking dish or possibly individual ramekins. Place in a shallow pan of warm water and bake at 350! for 55-60 min or possibly till lightly browned.
- Serve hot or possibly chilled with confectioners' sugar dusted on top.
- Yield: 6-8 servings.
