- Mixed with 1/3 c water.
- Seperate Large eggs; beat whites till frothy. Beat in 1/2 c. of the sugar; keep beating till whites form stiff peaks.
- In another mixing bowl cream lard with remaining c. of sugar. When softened add in flour, salt, and baking pwdr. Beat for about a minute. Add in egg yolks, evaporated lowfat milk mixed with water, and vanilla and mix well.
- Carefully mix in egg white mix. Bake in a 3-by-4-by-12-inch buttered cake tin for 30 min in 350 degree oven.
